Yesterday afternoon about 5:15pm, Prince Crawford, 61, of 10-11 Christian Street Tucville, was rushed to the Georgetown Public Hospital Corporation with severe bee stings about his body.
The man was picked up by public spirited citizens after frantically rolling about on the ground at the Wellington Street entrance of the Guyoil gas station. Kaieteur News was told that a broom was used to whip the bees off the man’s body.

When Kaieteur News reporter got to the scene, the man’s shirt was on the ground. He was already at the hospital and was receiving medical treatment.
Kaieteur News understands that the man is unable to speak. It is unclear where and how he had come into contact with the dangerous bees.
