Participants would be capably tutored in the intricacies of the sport by GTTA/IAAF levels 1&2 certified coach, Muniram Persaud who apart from his excellent knowledge of the sport is a physical education teacher at the Mae’s School, an institution that has excelled in this particular sport.
Mr. Persaud said that the programme has attracted several quality players including 2 cadet and mini cadet players, Kristian Sahadeo and Alexandre DeAbrue, shortlisted to travel to Barbados in September for national duties. Participants are reminded that they must bring along a tee shirt, short pants, sneakers and a table tennis racquet. There is no monetary requirement for participation.
