Dear Editor,
I am sure that the Chairman of the Ethnic Relations Commission (ERC) can better expend his time and resources than to deal with the folly and lack of basic knowledge in Mr McCoy’s highly publicised adventure to ask the ERC to deal with what is a non-issue.
I read the purported offending article by Freddie Kissoon and was amazed that a person who holds a responsible office with the highest Executive of the land could pen such a letter to engage the attention of the ERC, and obviously it is part of an effort by the PPP cabal as witnessed by the letter by Vishnu Bisram in the State control Chronicle edition of August 19.
I believe Freddie was being extremely kind by suggesting McCoy be sent to Monkey Mountain.
A more appropriate place for this young person to be sent (who once worked with me) might have been to Crab Creek in the Marudi Mountains or to Dog Point on the left bank of the Essequibo River just above Bartica.
I took the trouble to identify the locations so that McCoy and his ilk will not suggest or believe that I am calling him a crab, or a dog or better still a Crab Dog.
People who hold high office in the Office of our highest Executive in the land should be of a certain calibre, but perhaps only heaven can help us.
What next?
