DEAR EDITOR,
People go to the polls on elections day to vote. After you have finished voting, you follow the stages in the electoral process. In layman’s terms- you count the votes, review the internal reports, and then you declare the winner.
If you are prevented from electing a winner, there is the recount of ballots where you find out what is wrong.
At the end of the recount, if there are no irregularities – you proceed to the declaration of the winner.
If you find something wrong, you simply scrap the election.
Thank you,
James Blair
