Dear Editor,
Interestingly the President would tell the gathering at the opening of the party’s three-day 20th Biennial Delegates Congress at Congress Place, Sophia that ‘ the coalition Government will not be intoxicated by oil.’
Whilst he’s saying that, the whole county and other countries could see that this government cannot manage this country properly and they all using the reward of the expected oil to shade their incompetence.
Editor, this is a president who conveniently choose not to keep press conference, and remains silent on the behaviour and allegations against ministers under his watch. Numerous negligence occurring at the public hospitals resulting in unnecessary deaths, an increase in road accidents, petty crimes increasing with the use of guns, and over spending of monies under watch.
The most embarrassing of all is the cancellation of the annual international yachting event, citing the deadly pirates attack.
I hope the President will be able to tell the party members gathering at Congress place his plans for that but, I am certain that will not be addressed. Meanwhile Guyana continues to be embarrassed daily.
