Dear Editor
The Devil’s most talented representative in Guyana’s politics has indirectly targeted one newspaper for the crime of allowing my letters to appear in it. Let him not protest. I am merely trying to adopt his language.
The Eyewitness is a little deceptive. He does not disclose that while I was in Guyana in May-June I declined an invitation from his paper for an interview.
This Eyewitness, often a false witness, is plainly impatient with my lingering on the same Earth he lives on. Using his authority, he has sentenced me to the furnaces of certain Faiths other than his. But he, unlike me, is not sly! He has also offered me a fulltime job stoking fire in the afterlife. I am sure I will learn much serving in one of the gangs under his able and inspired supervision.
