Dear Editor,
1) Did the community representatives submit a plan to the Council to show how the area can be developed for the benefit of the residents?
2) Why did the community representatives allowed the area to be overtaken with garbage, grass, grime and slush knowing of the financial challenges of the Council?
3) Why only after the Council had announced its plans for the specific area and commenced a regimen of cleaning, did the community run to the court to take out an injunction to restrain the Council?
4) If the Council owns a plot of land that is transported can the community representatives dictate how it can and should be utilized?
In conclusion it may seem that there is more in the mortar than in the pestle. Is it that the elite bourgeoisies believe that the Council’s employees are lesser mortal and do not deserve a space in their earthly paradise.
