Dear Editor,
My wife fell and struck her head on the concrete outside the Bakewell establishment on Albert Street. She was bleeding heavily from the wound on her head.
A young man (a total stranger) took off his shirt and used it to compress the wound to reduce the flow of blood. He also drove her and my son to the hospital. He left the hospital before I had a chance to thank him properly.
I’ll like, through this medium, to thank him. In fact, I’ll be happy if he contacts me at the Neonatal Unit of the Georgetown Public Hospital Corporation so that I can thank him in a more tangible way. In the meanwhile, I pray that God showers him with countless blessings.
