Dear Editor,
It was indeed a major stepping stone by acknowledging local musicians with the “Accolade Awards” respectively, and I am certain that it will motivate and encourage potential musicians to come on board and make a name for themselves in the near future.
An impressive musician who, to my mind, has got really great talent and hope that he shines much more brightly is none other than “Lil Man.” I also believe that he is one of the very few who can be elevated to the level of Machel Montano.
Fortunately, I got a glimpse of an amazing young lady from a Christmas promo via television broadcast just a few days ago, she goes by the name of “Jessica Xavier,” and I was simply blown away. If this individual had to sing to save her life, she would definitely live.
I have no idea if this person is a musician by profession, but I saw and heard talent; and if she seriously embarks on a singing career, she would do herself and Guyana proud. That is, if she is a citizen.
