Kaieteur News – Family members are distressed over the disappearance of 21-y-o Nikkita Grant, of Lot 6, Mt. Sinai, New Amsterdam, Berbice.
The young woman has been missing since August 18, 2025 when she left her home to go to work at C&M Bakery in New Amsterdam.
Speaking with this newspaper, her sister Alexses Grant disclosed that a missing person report was filed at the Central Police Station in New Amsterdam on Wednesday. The police inquired on the colour of the outfit the now missing young woman wore, but the family informed them that she had left home without being seen properly.
According to the older Grant, they were told by the police that the details were insufficient, and took her and her mother’s number.
“If anybody see her just make contact with us or the nearest police station. It’s affecting my mother because she’s sickly…wherever she is, whoever she is at, let them call and let us know where she is,” her sister pleaded.
Since her disappearance, calls to her cell phone have been unsuccessful.
Persons who may have any information on the whereabout of Nikkita Grant are asked to make contact with the family on 652-6979/604-3308.
