David Williams added more valuable runs by knocking 35 but West Coast Warriors were strategically tidy at the backend with their spin-pace combination.
Shafeek failed to take a wicket but it was off-spinner Anthony Providence who put immense pressure on the batters with impressive figures of 3-34 from his maximum six overs.
Earlier, West Coast Warriors had a decent start between the inform Youghestir Bachan and Rajendra Khan.
Bachan, the former Essequibo Senior Inter-County player, was in an aggressive mood slamming 67 from 71 balls and hitting four boundaries.

However, Providence provided some late flourish with an unbeaten 28 (1×6, 1×4) along with Rajin Rahamon 15 not out. Brandon Cabose, another seasoned campaigner, scored 18 to help with the restoration job.
