Kaieteur News – The Guyana Defence Force (GDF) will soon construct a hangar facility for its aircraft at Air Corps, Timehri, East Bank Demerara (EBD).
This was revealed at the recent opening of bids at the National Procurement and Tender Administration Board (NPTAB) office which revealed that the project is estimated to cost $241,041,177.
According to NPTAB information, a total of eight contractors have bid for the project.
This publication understands that the GDF has a hangar located at the Cheddi Jagan International Airport in Timehri. In March, the GDF commissioned a $231M hangar at the Ogle Airport.
