Kaieteur Sports – The Berbice Cricket Board (BCB) is extending congratulations to all-rounder Kevlon Alston Anderson on his selection to the West Indies Senior Cricket Squad. He has been selected in the squad to play against Australia.
Anderson, a right arm batsman and medium fast bowler, is the latest Berbician called up to represent The West Indies in International cricket.
Anderson, began his cricketing career representing the Rose Hall Town Youth and Sports Club before going on to play for Berbice and Guyana. His call up to the West Indies senior squad comes after outstanding performances for Guyana over the past two years in the West Indies Senior Regional championship.
He was very prolific this year scoring three centuries. Before that, the 24 years old Anderson played for the West Indies Cricket Academy, the West Indies Emerging Players and the West Indies A teams where he also did well.
Anderson had an outstanding youth career where he represented the West Indies at the U19 level and played age group cricket for Guyana at various stages starting at the U15 level.
The BCB would like to take the opportunity on behalf of the president, executives, members and entire Berbice in wishing Anderson all the best. (Samuel Whyte)
