Kaieteur Sports – The Guyana Office Assistant Promotion Committee (GOAPC) is set to host a thrilling evening of competition and celebration with its Pre-Father’s Day Domino Competition, scheduled for Friday, June 13th. The event is billed for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs parking lot on Charlotte Street, Bourda, with the first match commencing at 4:00 p.m.
The highlight of the evening will be the Inter-Ministries and Government Agencies Domino Showdown, where teams will face off for the coveted first-place cash prize of $70,000. With limited spots available, event organiser James “Uprising” Lewis has made it clear that no late entries will be accepted.
Meanwhile, adding to the excitement, the night will also feature a special “Fathers in Concert” showcase, providing entertainment and celebrating the contributions of fathers across the public service. The event is also a part of the broader “One Guyana” initiative, which aims to promote unity, camaraderie, and positive engagement among Government employees.
This festive gathering promises to be more than just a game night which offers lucrative cash prizes, it’s an opportunity for Ministries and Agencies to bond and celebrate fatherhood together in the true spirit of national solidarity.
