Kaieteur News- Town Clerk (ag) Walter Narine and City Engineer Colvern Venture visited Kitty Market on Wednesday to observe the ongoing work being carried out by the City Engineer’s Department.
The visit highlighted the progress made in the ongoing improvements to the market, which are part of the city’s efforts to upgrade public facilities for the benefit of the community.

During the visit, both officials took a close look at the renovations, which include infrastructure enhancements and modernization to ensure the market can better serve residents and vendors alike, City Hall said in a release. According to the release Narine expressed satisfaction with the progress, noting that the project is on track and will significantly enhance the market’s functionality and appeal. Venture for his part, provided technical insights into the scope of the work and assured that the project will be completed to the highest standards, further solidifying the city’s commitment to improving public spaces and supporting local businesses.
