Nailing the lies of Indian right-wing nationalists

Dear Editor,

Roopchand Sharma’s letter yesterday is laughable, to say the least- Bisram did absolutely nothing to help President Cheddi political career and I doubt that Jagan even knew who Bisram was. Sharma’s letter is full of falsehoods and betrays his confused loyalty to East Indian nationalism, Guyanese style.

The most striking lie is that I am a communist and that I work with the present PPP regime – the record over the years will show his lying ways. What’s interesting is how I have needled these Indian right-wing nationalists and they are certainly going after me while pretending to love Jagan – to Bisram, Sharma and Dev – keep leaping into the political abyss while kowtowing to the present PPP regime.
