Kaieteur Sports – When day two of the National Sports Commission/East Bank Football Association/Ralph Green Under-11 League continued on Sunday last at the Agricola Community Ground, seven of the eight matches carded ended with a winner, the other matches produced a 1-1 draw.
For the second week in a row, Fruta Conquerors recorded the largest margin of victory, one less than their opening-day tally of eight when they trounced Samatta Point Kaneville 7-0. Santos was also in very good form, defeating Herstelling Raiders, 6-1.
Swan, like Conquerors and Santos, kept their unbeaten record intact when they got past Agricola Red Triangle, 4-0. Den Amstel also kept a flawless run intact when they beat Riddim Squad, 3-0. Pouderoyen edged Timehri Panthers 2-1, while gaining full points as a result of their opponents not showing up were Friendship All-Stars and Diamond United.
The lone draw of the day was recorded in the clash between Vengy and Eagles FC of Stewartville, 1-1. This Sunday’s matches will decide the eight quarter-finalists (top two in each group) as the business end of the league will commence, the following week.Following is the latest points table.
