Kaieteur News – One Opposition politician gat a serious problem with mathematics. She just seem to get kerfuffle with numbers. She is not a numbers lady.
But imagine if this is happening with someone in de parliament, how yuh gan want to blame all dem pickney wah underperforming in math. No wonder we getting such poor results in math in de country.
De Opposition gat to put someone who good at maths to sit with dis lady. Because she just don’t seem to be getting her numbers correct and it becoming a little embarrassing now.
But de government also gat a numbers problem. When dem done with de audit, dem getting less than dem supposed to get. Who knows dem might soon tell we how we owe de oil companies rather than de oil companies owe we!
When dem boys did young dem did went for an interview. De interviewer did like ask people quiz fuh see how much dem know. So he tell dem boys, “I heard you are extremely quick at math.”
Dem boys seh: “Yes, as a matter of fact I am!”
Interviewer: “What is 14×27?”
Dem boys answer… “49!”
Interviewer: “That’s not even close!”
Dem Boys: “Yeah, but it was fast.”
But de best was de time a teacher was giving a math lesson…
…and she asked one of her students, “If you had two dollars, and you asked your father for another, how many dollars would you have?”
The student replied, “Two dollars.”
“Not quite,” the teach responded. “Sounds like you don’t know your addition.
“No,” the student said, “you just don’t know my father.”
