Kaieteur News – The Ministry of Education will soon be rehabilitating six secondary school dormitories at an estimated cost of $221,020,872.
During a recent opening of tenders it was revealed that works are slated for the male and female Mahaicony Secondary School dormitories, Santa Rosa Boys’ School dormitory in Region One, Aishalton Secondary School male and female dormitories (Region Nine), and the Linden Foundation dormitory (Region 10).
It was also revealed that the Rosignol Secondary School will be rehabilitated at a cost of $14,436,400 in rehabilitation. With its $94.4 billion budgetary allocation, this year a sum of $12.4 billion has been dedicated towards the construction, rehabilitation, extension, and maintenance of educational facilities across the country.
