Kaieteur Sports – President of the Guyana Football Federation, Mr. Wayne Forde, paid a courtesy call on the National U15 Boys team who are currently encamped at the GFF National Training Centre (NTC).
Also visiting the players and offering words of encouragement were Akel Clarke and Curtez Kellman from the Senior Men’s National Team.
Forde commended the Junior Golden Jaguars for earning themselves a chance to prove to the technical staff that they are worthy of being selected for the final squad that will represent Guyana at the Concacaf U15 Boys Championship next month. He also complimented the Boys for their disciplined conduct throughout the selection and encampment period, while thanking the technical staff for their service and dedication.
“It is coveted privilege and honour to represent our golden arrow head on the international stage. Embrace the weight of this huge responsibility as a duty to your country, your family, your community and most importantly – yourselves. All of Guyana is with you on this mission to win our group and qualify for the championship round of the tournament. We wish you a safe journey and best of luck in the tournament.”
