Dear Editor,
Kaieteur News – It never fails to amaze. The recommendations made by the EOM emanating from the 2020 elections were released and made public a long time ago.
Now the visit of EU reps to discuss electoral reforms in the lead up to the 2025 elections has seen a sudden rush and call to accept, adopt and implement the recommendations by a major political player, ahead of the upcoming LGE (GSN May 11).
With all the talk of electoral reforms swirling around, it was never, in any meaningful way, pushed (as is the case for a clean voter’s list and biometrics), for these recommendations to be adopted and implemented as part of the reform process. Now this must be done.
Is this currying favour? Or is it an act of desperation and clutching of straws?

(Kaieteur News) – Ever hear about Doubting Thomas? Those who didn’t should consult with their Bibles.
