Kaieteur News – The Soesdyke Premier League /East Bank Demerara Cricket Association T10 tournament is set to conclude tomorrow at Farm.
Eccles will play Farm at 09:30hrs and North Soesdyke will face Herstelling at 12:00hrs, which will be followed by the final.
In last weekend games at Farm, Sandpipers won the toss and batted first, scoring 97-8; Andy Lall- 39 as Quazim Yusuf took and Buddan Baksh 2-15.
Herstelling B replied with 88-9. A. Deokie took and A. Lall 2-11.
At YMCA, Meadow Bank took first strike and made 81-6. Y. Persaud made 32 and B. Jaikarran 23.
Herstelling A in reply made 83-7. M. Dhanpaul made 24 and A. Bharat 20. D. Persaud claimed 4-12.
Silver Bullet made 73-4, batting first; Kaysia Schultz took 2-18. Eccles responded with 75-2 in 8 overs. Marcus Watkins scored 30 not out and Kelvin Singh 25. Jerry Benjamin had 2-8.
Ruimveldt made 80-7, taking first strike. Ershad Ali scored 37. North Soesdyke replied with 82-6. Shamar Yearwood scored 28 and Ryan Shivmangal 26. Nicholas Bollers claimed 3-16.
Demolition scored 102-4, batting first. Damien Vantull made 43, Q. Joseph 21 and C. Austin 20. North Soesdyke responded with 103-6. Andrew Lyght made 45 and Shamar Yearwood 25. D Sam took 2-21.
The winning team will receive $500,000, runner up $100,000, Best batsman and best bowler $50,000 each.
