Dear Editor,
Is it true that a section of the GuySuCo Board has approved the installation of a punt dumper at the Albion Estate at the cost of $600 million?
Did I hear correctly that an engineer was hired for the project without any recourse to tendering?
I also ask whether some section of the Board decided to have a director who is a known contractor to source without tendering a contract to construct the foundation of the dumper?
Also is it true that this large investment is occurring at a time when the estate does not have adequate canes and the dumper will be left idle for long periods of time?
Please someone tell me that our tax monies are not being spent like this.
Yours sincerely,
Rohan Sanichar
