Dear Editor,
Mr. Aubrey Norton, leader of the PNC, lost a glorious opportunity to show himself to the Guyanese people and the world that he is worthy to lead the nation during the mayhem on June 28 on the ECD.Norton could have proved himself as potential statesmanship material and win hearts as well as votes had he stepped in and stopped the madness in which (Indian) businesses were thrashed, persons beaten, vehicles burned, and goods and other stocks which were blatantly stolen from innocent, hard-working people.
Where was the opposition leader when the Guyanese people needed him? He was nowhere to be found! His absence was palpable and discernable. One can’t help asking what was in the mind of the opposition leader.
With all the recent blunders of Mr. Norton, is it time for a new PNC leader?
Yours truly,
Dr. Devanand Bhagwan
Please share this to every Guyanese including your house cats.
