An unbeaten half century by Chandrapaul Persaud handed West Coast Warriors a seven-wicket win over Lux Turbo when the New York National Cricket League Deo and Sons 30 overs competition continued recently at Ferry Point, Bronx.
Lux Turbo took first and made 159 all out. Shiwrattan Singh scored 44 and Nayem Joy, 40. Anil Sookdeo claimed 4-9 and Rajin Rahaman took 4-25.
West Coast Warriors responded with 160-3 in 17.3 overs. Persaud struck four fours and six sixes in an unbeaten 70 while Saffeek Deonarine made 32 and Rahaman was unbeaten on 23.
