Dear Sir
I am a pensioner and was benefitting from the water subsidy over the past few years.
However, on my water bills, from at least December last year, I have noticed that there was no deduction as previously.
On querying this matter with the GWI office at Peter’s Hall, E.B.D., I was told that the Government hadn’t given them any subsidy and so the full charge would be made.
In my view, this is most unconscionable given the increased cost of nearly every item. How will pensioners survive?
Yours sincerely
Suffering Pensioner
