Kaieteur News – The Trophy Stall annual Christmas Doubles Badminton tournament concluded on Friday evening after three days of action packed matched at the Cliff Anderson Sports Hall, Homestretch Avenue.
Narayan Ramdhani and Jonathon Mangra were the champions of the Men’s Doubles, while Priyanna Ramdhani and Shivani Persaud were the victors of the Women’s Doubles. Akili Haynes & Priyanna Ramdhani copped first place for the Mixed Doubles games.
The Tournament which is the first held after the death of Guyana Badminton Association President, Gokarn Ramdhani, brings the curtains down for 2021.
Over the last week, players were involved in intense Doubles and Mixed Doubles games. The Guyana Badminton Association would once again like to express gratitude to Mr. Ramesh Sunich for his sponsorship of trophies.
