Kaieteur News – Yesterday, ANSA McAL Trading Limited (AMTL) presented Olympic qualified boxer Keevin Allicock with a sponsorship cheque worth $150,000.
At the handing over ceremony at AMTL’s Beterverwagting Head Office, Corporate Communications Officer of ANSA McAL, Treiston Joseph shared that the company is proud to be associated with the Commonwealth Youth silver medalist.
“We are proud to support Keevin who is the first boxer in 25 years to qualify for the Olympics we know that he is one of the hardest workers in the room and we believe that this is just the start for him. There will be other things in the pipeline for Keevin but we want to wish him well at the Olympics,” Joseph shared.
Allicock noted that this is a timely gesture on the part of ANSA McAL.
“I want to say a major shout out to Mr. Troy Cadogan, I work hard and I know this is a blessing, I will continue to work hard and hopefully this becomes a long partnership with this company,” Allicock noted.
Further, the GNC brand that is also distributed by ANSA McAL is expected to support the Olympic Boxer before he heads off to a three-week training camp in Russia from Tuesday before joining the Olympic team in Tokyo for the start of the games in July.
