DEAR EDITOR,
The furore which stemmed from statements perceived to be racist by a sitting parliamentarian and which was complained to the ethnic relations body, begs the question shouldn’t the facilitator (host) who it is alleged nodded in agreement with the caustic remarks, also be hauled before the ethnic relations body for aiding and abetting remarks which may have caused disharmony?
Further, shouldn’t the national broadcast regulator look into the operation of the broadcast platform from which the statements were allowed to emanate and found its way in the public domain?
