Kaieteur News – Region Six and Headquarters registered victories when the Guyana Police Force Commissioner T20 Cup continued on Wednesday at the Everest Cricket Club. Region six beat President’s Guard by eight runs.
Region Six batted first and managed 153-5. Kevon Boodie made 41, Philbert Wilburgh 33, K. Amsterdam 28 and K. Mentor 20. Saheed Mohamed took 2-29. President’s Guard responded with 145-8. K. Hardcourt scored 48, D. Gopaul 21 and M. Gonsalves 20. Rockey Hutson grabbed four wickets.
Headquarters overcame Region three by four wickets. Region three took first strike and made 87 all out. J. Anderson scored 27 and T. Bascom 18. Titus Webster and K. Ramkarran took three and two wickets respectively.
Headquarters replied with 89-6. Quentin Sampson made 22, K. Allicock 19 and Andrew Lyght 16. Deron Archer claimed three wickets and B. Lallbachan two.
