GTA elections….
Kaieteur News – The Guyana Tennis Association will hold elections to nominate its executive body on April, 16, 2020. According to correspondence seen by Kaieteur Sport, First Vice President of the GTA, Cristy Campbell was nominated for the presidency by Roraima Tennis Club and Annabelle Carter was nominated by Sheltez Tennis Club. Patrick Mentore and Nigel Niles are contesting the Vice Presidency, and their nominations come from Sheltez and Roraima clubs respectively. According to the email which was signed by GTA secretary, Shineza Thompson, the Le Ressouvenir Tennis Club which is owned by current President Samuel Barakat has withdrawn its membership from the Guyana Tennis Association.
The nine clubs listed to vote at the upcoming elections are:

Roraima Tennis Club
Non-Pariel Tennis Club
Rebel Tennis Club
Wimbledon Tennis Club
Pumas Tennis Club
Everest Tennis Club
United Tennis Club
Guyana Tennis Coaches Association
