Kaieteur News – Sponsored by Trophy Stall, Bel Air Rubis and Ramchand Auto Spares, Demerara Cricket Club (DCC) will challenge Bel Air Rubis Under17 in a day/night 30-over cricket match starting at 4:30pm.
Keen competition is anticipated among the two teams as the players are hungry for action after the Covid19 pandemic had put a dent on sporting action, which is now beginning to happen under strict covid19 safety guidelines and permission from the national Task Force in charge of dealing with containing the spread of the virus.
Meanwhile, on Friday evening, Bel Air Rubis will tangle with DCC this time in the Under19 category. This match starts 5:00pm.
The teams for tomorrow’s action will come from: Bel Air Rubis Squad: Ajay Gainda Capt., Nicholas Shiopersaud V/Capt, Anthony Khan, Omari Lalbachan, Daniel Goolab, Josh Alves, Joshau Alves, Mohan Raghunauth, Hemraj Harprashad, Sasnarine Haricharan, Bramanand Rabindranauth, Neeran Bani, Alex Datterdeen and Tushar Mahadeo.
DCC Squad: Jadon Campbell Capt, Romeo Deonarain V/Capt, Jonathan Van Lange, Prem Permaul, Jayden Dowlin, Wavell Allen, Malik Hopkinson, Keshawn Silus, Inderjeet Nanan, Daniel Motoo, Joshua Walcott and Romel Singh.
