Dear Editor
How goes the preparation for Local Government Elections (LGE)?
LGE must be held this year, notwithstanding the fixing of GECOM.
While I am in agreement that GECOM needs to discipline those who were engaged in skullduggery during the 2nd March 2020 General and Regional Elections I do believe that Claudette Singh has not done so because it could prejudice the case against them. GECOM needs to be in a state of readiness to hold elections at all times. Let those who were charged with election skullduggery have their day in Court as we look forward to holding LGE this year.
Yours truly,
Sean Ori
