Champion of Champions dominoes commences today
Under strict Covid-19 guidelines, the Champion of Champions Dominoes competition commences today at R and R Domino Club, 76 Meadowbrook Gardens at 13:30hrs. Senior Organising
Mark Wiltshire displays the first place prize which is being sponsored by Dearaj Singh Sawmill of Parika.
Secretary of the Guyana Domino League, Mark Wiltshire informed that the competition will conclude tomorrow and entrance fee is $15,000.
He added that the tournament will be played on a six-game, six sittings, two in one out basis. Among the teams slated to take part are Quiet Storm, Mix Up, Gold is Money, Big Boss, Fresh Cash, OPKO, Master, Big Boss Girls, West Side, Phantom, Spartans, Executive, Turning Point, Loyalty, Gangster, Players, C7, UFO and All Seasons.
The competition is being sponsored by Trophy Stall, Merriman’s Funeral Home, Bardon Construction Services, Big Boss Trucking Service and Dearaj Singh Sawmill of Parika. Teams can contact Wiltshire on 659 8672 for registration.
