A belligerent knock from Fazal Rafiek coupled by incisive spells from Roy Persaud and Laurie Singh handed Regal Masters a 48-run victory over Richard Latif XI when the teams collided in a T20 softball encounter on Sunday last.

Eric Thomas chipped in with 23 not out which contained three sixes as Regal Masters managed 175-7. Saheed Gittens claimed 2-26 and Kingston 2-37.
Laurie Singh sent back opener Gittens for 10 before Rafiek picked up two wickets including that of Latif for 21with two fours and one six, to peg back the chase. Ramdeen (only name given) showed some fight as he struck one four and four sixes before he was bowled by Singh for a top score of 35.
