DEAR EDITOR,
My heart used to swell with pride when hearing you speak. Particularly, when I heard Mr. Nagamootoo speak at the Salvation Army’s launch of their annual Christmas fundraiser in 2017. I was never more proud of the leadership of my country.
However, it breaks my heart to see you tarnish your reputations and all the good things you did for Guyana in a fruitless attempt to remain In power. Not only that, but your plan also involves tarnishing the reputation of every upstanding individual in society in order to suit your political agenda. I ask you to play the long game for your supporters. Concede, and come back in 2025 stronger than ever before. For every additional day you spend wasting the time of Guyanese, your sensible supporters are lost in the thousands.
