DEAR EDITOR,
While we await the official declaration that the PPP/C has won the 2nd March 2020 elections, the acceptance by the APNU+AFC that they lost the elections and the swearing in of Irfaan Ali as President of Guyana we need to remind ourselves of the campaign promises made by the PPP/C.
One of these was the promise to create 50,000 jobs for Guyanese.
To create 50,000 jobs would need investment in the region of US$5,000M (ONE TRILLION GUYANA DOLLARS). You got a trillion dollars on hand Mr. President in waiting?
Let’s see your job creation plan so that we can all work together to make it a reality.
We are going to hold you ACCOUNTABLE to that promise as nothing less will do.
Yours faithfully,
Sean Ori
