The COVID 19 has affected the operations of many industries and organisations financially all over the world and the Lusignan Golf Club (LGC) is no different. The club has been closed since the lockdown thereby affecting the livelihood of the Caddies who depended on the little income to support themselves and their families.
Knowing the challenging situation the Caddies are faced with, some of the members have come to their rescue by providing monetary and other donations towards hampers. A total of 30 Caddies and ten (10) less fortunate families within the Lusignan area benefitted from the hampers over the weekend.
They expressed gratitude for the gift and thanked the members for their generosity. The Management Committee of LGC is expressing thanks to their members who contributed towards the hampers with special mention to Hilbert Shields and Pandit Haresh who initiated the process.
