I was relieved when I read the letter in your letter column regarding the submission of overseas life certificate to NIS. The question is how authentic that statement is.
Because it is only yesterday, I did a live chat through NIS website with an agent asking the very same question as I am living in the US.
Their answer was that NIS does not accept duplicate life certificate, only physical copies that are either mail or hand in.
Now it’s a different way around; therefore this needs to be noted for future action.
