DEAR EDITOR,
Were I in any way connected to GECOM I would now be employing my own lawyer. The APNU/AFC coalition has stressed the independence of GECOM; it is now claiming that the election is fatally flawed and will blame GECOM and GECOM alone for this. Doubtless criminal charges will follow the announcement that the serious flaws mean that there must be a new election with a proper voters’ list and proper counting. That some of us thought proper counting and scrutiny had occurred at each of the polling stations is irrelevant.
