DEAR EDITOR,
As we are fast approaching what is being dubbed, “the mother of all elections”, I would like to point out the age we live in.
We live in an information age; our ability to have access to information is only limited by ourselves. If we want to be outraged, we will be; or we can choose to take a few minutes and do some research to dispel the fake news.
You are doing yourself a grave injustice if you don’t choose to ascertain all the facts. At this time, I would like to enjoy healthy scepticism. Listen to everything all politicians (myself included) have to say and then research. If they promise to give you a new pink car, check if that’s possible, if it was previously promised and so on.
Do the research. Find the facts. Don’t propel the noise.
