The 2020 Bounty Farm Ltd Handicap Squash Tournament continued Friday evening at the usual venue, The Georgetown Club, with quarter final matches in the Open Category, and plate matches in both categories.
It was a night full of upsets in the Open category as both of the top seeded players were beaten. Lucas Jonas (2) played excellent squash to defeat Peter Michael De Groot (-15) 15 – -4, 15 – 1, while Brian Edwards (9) had to come from one game down to miraculously oust Nicholas Narain (-15) 13 – 15, 15 – 9, 15 – 9. Mohryan Baksh (0) beat Lloyd Fung A Fat in two close games 15 – 13, 15 – 13, while in the last of the quarter final matches Louis da Silva (10) easily beat Zachary Persaud (10) 15 – 8, 15 – 11.
