This Sunday, the Saints Stanislaus College Auditorium will play host once again to the Guyana Amateur Powerlifting Federation Novices and Junior Championships which is expected to lift off at 09:00hrs with thirty (30) athletes set to compete in three flights.
According to the Federation, weigh in for athletes in Flight A will commence at 07:00hrs and end half hour before the start of competition. Following are the athletes set to compete:
Flight A – Amanda Gunraj, Kean Andrews, Linda Barker, Kemo Greaves, Ghamsham Goberdan, Shazeena Rahim, Xusha Boyce, Lateshia Davanand, Mohammed Khan, Jada Toney, Akram Gaffor.
Flight B – Ravin Mahabal, Aquib Mohamed, Randy Halley, Darious Ramsammy, Keran Persaud, Quain Proctor, Wazeer Hussein, Kumarnaut Gumani, Imran Mohamad, Shoib Kayume.
Flight C – Deodat Ramprasad, Komalshankar Arjune, Gavinash Jaigobin, Lorence Semple, Erwyn Smith, Fizul Ally, Nasrudeen Ally, Puneshwar Ramjit, Alex Parmanand.
