DEAR EDITOR,
It is indeed fitting and very deserving the conferral of the Commonwealth Points of Light Award to leading HIV/AIDS advocate, Ms Desiree Edghill.
Ms Edghill has led from the front and is one of the leading light and point person in the gargantuan work and task of educating and raising awareness in society of this disease.
Because of the work of Ms Edghill and the organization she heads, this once little understood and dreaded disease is now better apprehended and fathomed.
Kudos and warmest congratulations. Keep up the good work.
