Albion Community Center Cricket Club U15 team made light work of Tucber Park Cricket Club when the defeated them by 52 runs to advance to the final of the 2020 Lewison BCB 50 Overs U-15 Cricket competition.
In the game played on Sunday at the Albion Community Centre ground, the home team won the toss and batted first in the rain affected semi-final encounter which was reduced to 30 overs a side.
They were dismissed for 102 in 29 overs with Afraz Budhoo making 27 after Albion had slipped from 31 for 1 in the 7th over to 42 for 6 in the 12th. Devin Lalbehari supported with 15 and opener Tameshwar Mangal14.
Bowling for Tucber Park Orlando Welcome, Dravid Palandie and London Simon took two wickets each.
Tucber Park in reply feared worst and were dismissed for 50 in 20.1 overs with none of their batters posting any notable score.
Doing the damage for Albion was left-arm-spinner Kumar Deopersaud, off-spinner Budhoo and medium pacer Antonio Ramphal with 2 wickets each.
Albion will now meet arch rivals and neighbours Port Mourant in the final at a date and venue to be announced shortly.
