Apparel and sportswear store, MVP Sports, located at the Giftland Mall, Turkeyen, East Coast Demerara has joined the list of partners and sponsors who have combined to ensure that the 6th Kares Caribbean Fitness Challenge set for today at the National Park Tarmac is a success.
MVP Sports made its contribution to the organisers, Guyana Fitness Games (GFG) Friday at the Giftland Mall, whilst complimenting the GFG for the initiative of introducing the sport to Guyana, six years ago.
“MVP Sports is proud to be associated with the 6th edition of the Kares Caribbean Crossfit Challenge. We recognise the importance of organisations like the Guyana Fitness Games providing opportunities for our local athletes to perform and venture on to represent us on the international sports arena, and as such are happy to support their combined efforts. We look forward to this Sunday’s event and continuing support of the organisation and the sport in the future.”
Responding on behalf of GFG, Ms. Jordana Ramsay-Gonsalves expressed gratitude to Manager/Owner Ian Ramdeo and MVP sports for partnering with them for the event, noting that they strive to make it better each year.
“We do appreciate MVP Sports coming on board with us for this evolving sport in Guyana. As the organisers, we strive to improve every year and one way of doing so is to increase the level of corporate support/partnership. We can assure you that this year’s event would be the best ever, in every regard.”
Today’s action will get going with the first event from 06:30hrs which is for athletes only. Fans will be able to get into the fray from 13:00hrs when the remaining four events would unfold.
There would also be the Teen Challenge which would feature a total of 15 athletes (male and female) from around Guyana.
