Siblings Narayan and Priyanna Ramdhani secured third place finishes at the 2019/2020 ACAC Badminton Tournament #2 (Alberta Colleges Athletic Conference) held at the Kings University in Edmonton Alberta Canada Sunday last.
Narayan, playing for the Kings University got two Third Places in the Men Singles and Men Doubles, while younger sister, Priyanna, playing for Olds College got Third Place in Women Singles.
The Guyana Badminton Association (GBA) noted in a release, “We are happy with them maintaining their continuous consistency to stay on Top and especially playing with Outside Temperatures of -25c. Both of them are holding up their expectations to keep their standard high for both their learning institutions and Guyana’s Badminton.”

Narayan Ramdhani:
Men Singles (Seeded No.2):
Gained a bye in the First Round.
Defeated John Li of Nait: 21-16, 22-20 in the Quarter-Finals
Lost to Raymond Kim of Nait: 21-18, 21-17 in the Semi-Finals
Defeated Smit Patel of Nait: 21-13, 21-16 to win the Third Place
Men Doubles:
Defeated Rylan Head & Noah Jeffery of Olds College: 21-15, 21-10 in the Quarter-Finals
Lost to Alex Fung & Raymond of Kings: 21-15, 21-10 in the Semi Finals:
Defeated Tyson Tsen & Braxton Wong of Concordia: 21-17, 21-15 to win the Third Place
Priyanna Ramdhani: (Seeded No.3)
Ladies Singles:
Gained a bye in the First Round
Defeated Kaitlyn Gee of Nait: 21-4, 21-7 in the Quarter-Finals
Lost to Johnna Rymes of Concordia: 21-9, 21-4 in the Semi-Finals
Defeated Cecilia Wolski of Kings: 21-11, 21-13 to win the Third Place
