‘Colours Boutique’ continued their long-term partnership with the Guinness ‘Greatest of the Streets’ football championship after handing over team uniforms for the 2020 edition of the tournament set to kick off next Friday in the ‘mining town’ of Linden.
The simple but significant presentation occurred yesterday at the entity’s Regent Street location. Speaking on behalf of the establishment Marissa Williams said, “We at Colours are once again happy to be a part of the Guinness ‘Greatest of the Streets’ Tournament.”
Lee Baptiste, Guinness Brand Executive thanked Colours for their invaluable contribution throughout the years, adding that the company has gone beyond with their support by branding the respective uniforms for the entire season. He further added, “Once again I would like to thanks Colours for supporting Guinness and by extension Banks DIH limited.”
The Guinness ‘Greatest of the Streets’ 2020 season opener will last four days in Linden and besides next Friday (January 24th) the other playing dates for the competition are January 25th, February 7th and 8th.
Sixteen teams will participate in this leg of the championship, with the Berbice Zonal tournament slated to commence shortly after. The organisers have noted that the official fixtures for the Linden would be published shortly.
