DEAR EDITOR,
The kind of way our Guyanese police officers direct traffic is bad in law, they always indicate to a vehicle driver to speed -up or hurry-up. With the reality of oil and gas business getting closer and more personnel and visitors entering Guyana, our police officers must use the internationally accepted hand signals to beckon and stop traffic. Beckoning vehicles coming from the front, this means if you are facing the officer you can drive pass the officer. ” Stopping of speeders will certainly save a life ”
Yours faithfully,
