Albion and Rose Hall Town Namilco Thunderbolt Flour to battle on Sunday
In what promises to be one of the most exciting finals in over a decade in the Ancient County, arch rivals Albion Community Centre Cricket Club and Rose Hall Town Namilco Thunderbolt Flour would clash for the 2019 Berbice Cricket Board/ Ivan Madray Memorial T20 championship.
The match would be played at the No. 69 Vikings Cricket Ground in the Upper Corentyne area and would be used as a fundraiser for Guyana’s most dynamic and vibrant cricket board. The tournament is sponsored by Upper Corentyne born business executive, Mr. Chandradat Chintamani in memory of his uncle, former West Indies leg spinner Ivan Madray.
Madray, was the third Berbician to play Test cricket for the West Indies after the legendary John Trim and Berbice greatest ever cricketer, Rohan ‘Babulall’ Kanhai.
